This premier inn is tired and in need of redecoration. The Brewers Fayre next door seems to be busy as locals use it, but the service is poor and 'off-hand and that's if you can catch anyone's attention! Most staff avoid eye contact so that someone else will deal with you. The food was poor (mixed grill), luke warm and full of gristle. Use Premier Inns a lot, but giving this one a miss in future.

Clean room, friendly staff. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Excellent value!
We enjoyed our stay. Usual reliable well-maintained rooms, great food in the Brewer's Fayre, handy to all the places we wanted to visit.But what stood out was the warm friendly cheerful helpful staff. They really made our stay a great experience.
Staff pleasant good size room's the breakfast evening meal deal good. Continental only breakfast expensive and full cooked breakfast good. The evening meal with breakfast deal includes some more premium items for example mixed grill. Before taking the deal check the brewers fare menu as cheaper items not such good value. Bathrooms in need of refurbishment as they are tired but you get both a bath and shower combined.
