Fantastic afternoon tea excellent home baking and plenty left over to take home well worth the price

This a lovely quality venue. Excellent food and cakes, unusual choices. Surrounded by some lovely paintings. Unusual setting on an industrial estate but well worth a visit. I would definitely recommend.
Industrial estates are usually the domain of takeaway vans so I was surprised to find the highest rated coffee shop on TripAdvisor in Glenrothes (other travel review websites are available) was a cafe in the rear of an art gallery in the middle of one.The cafe itself isn't large with only 12 tables but it was quiet enough at 12pm on a Tue that we had no trouble being seated. On previous visits, though, we've got the last table so don't take it for granted that you're guaranteed a place.We had the soup (sweet potato) and sandwich combo, which was enough to fill us up, and with a coffee this only came to about 9 each, which I don't think is too bad considering it was home made and of a high quality. As the cafe is inside an art gallery the decor is the works of art for sale and these became the talking point of our lunch.In all, the Art Cafe is probably the best place in the south of Glenrothes to go for a coffee and a catch up
Had a bunch of prints and posters framed and mounted here - staff were very helpful and the prints look fantastic. When I encountered an issue after picking them up I simply phoned the shop and we had it resolved with no extra fees incurred which was greatly appreciated.Shout out to Sam Livingston who did a stunning job with all of the framing. Would come back and get more done in a heartbeat.
